My friend DIY before. For firewall he did it from inside. Remove the carpet and stick from under the dashboard.
According to him. helps a lot.

If not into DIY, check with Desmond of KL Autofoam....... smile_thumbup.gif

hi guys,

We have strippped down Wajas, including CPS, dash board to SP (full) the complete firewall.

After 3000 rpm, it is then the engine ROAR that is bothering you.
The following are the Most cost effective methods to reduce engine roar without breaking the piggy bank...

Stage 1
1) Roar Killer ( for 4 wheel arches plus upper dash)...Rm 380.
2) InsuMat bonnet insulation..Rm 150.

Yes, the above is even more effective than the Firewall !!!
After the above, then only do the following...

Stage 2
3) AutoFoam Comfort for the complete undercarriage ( 3 sections...engine/ central/rear)
4) lower Firewall ( no need to open dashboard)

Cheers,

Desmond

Hi moors,

1)AutoFoam Comfort ...complete Undercarriage ( 3 sections, Engine, Central and Rear)...from rm 680.
A MUST-DO as it dramatically improves Handling, Comfort and Noise.

2) Firewall pricing depends on which material / brand.

To reduce engine noise, i suggest you look at our Roar Killer package FIRST.
We treat 4 wheel arches and upper dash as it is very effective in reducing high speed Engine, tire and road roar.

Proven on many bros rides here, even Camrys, Accords.
Best of all..from rm 380.

Hwk,
If your tire noise is very loud, make sure your tires and alignment are in good condition first.

Proven solutions for Altis are..
STAGE 1
1) GSI ( US) door package.
2) Roar Killer ( for 4 wheel arches plus upper dash).
Rm 960.

Cheers,

Desmond
