Bro. behcw,
Yours new car? If yes, go ahead and try.
After 6 years, my wife's car have stone chips all over. Losing battle, to me just leave it, if it does not rust..... smile_blackeye.gif

bro.beh.

If u can feel the cut then I dont think wet sanding will be able to remove it, Maybe only minimized the awful look only. Last time, my honda salesman give me FREE one small bottle of my orinal paint for touch up and according to him they do reserve one for each customer.

Maybe u can try to with your salesman. Anyway, mine oredi dried up.

i dunno mine consider DIY stonechip repair or not..what i did is i just touch up the stone chip area with newspaper or cotton bud and if the 'touch up' is too big or thick, i just leave it there..and wait next round of RB or ROB i just run 1 or 2 more passes at that section...i dun wetsand it since the dot is just to small...not worth to 'sacrisfy' the paintwork surrounding it....

THis is my style la....

new car but actually stone chip quite a lot already ... it is the one particular dot on the roof that is the eye sore .. the bumper one i dun care much .....

It is not a cut but a hole .. dimple ... got the metallic grey but didn't get lacquer ... hmm.. this is a tough job .....

so you touch up -> wet sanding -> compound -> polish??
