My personal opinion, Z7 is one of the better shampoo that I tried. And like everyone elsewhere in the world is asking and wondering, why doesn't Zxxxx produce it in gallon size and make it more economical....

Yup, wondering why Z7 is stuck at one size. Alternatively, they can make Z7 more concentrated smile.gif

my guess perhaps is marketing strategy since if they produce in big size, it 'usually' would be much more 'economy' and automatically will drop its 'premium' name.....

Just like Meguiars Consumer stuff why they dun product in gallon form most of the stuff..cost they can sell more expensive in smaller size...and if want 'cheaper' than go for Detailer series...

No offence to any party though...

Try Zaino again yesterday with a slightly stronger concentration and found it not bad....... smile_thumbup.gif

The problem now is, was the concentration too strong, as when I felt the surface yesterday, does not seems to be that smooth now. Has the stronger concentration wash off a bit of the sealant..... smile_question.gif

My review on OC Wash (sorry for missing of pictures as i wasn't able to put my wet hands on my camera tongue.gif).

I'll try to be fair as possible in my review here.

1 oz : 1 gal (1:128)
Pro-
This is the recommended dilution ratio by the manufacturer. The car was very dirty since the drive up to KL and back to JB. Suds was rich (like whip creme) and slick to the touch. Even my lambswool washmitt felt super slick to the touch. It cleans up dirt and water stains (not etching) effortlessly and maintain it's slickness on the paint surface. My washmitt virtually just GLIDE over the paint and gives me the confident that it'll prevent any major marring on the paint. Even in my 2nd rinse bucket, the foam was heavenly in the end. Had to add water into the 2nd bucket just to remove the foam.
Cons-
The car after drying felt slightly squeaky to the touch. I would not say whether or not it has directly/indirectly affected the LSP that was on the car but water sheeting after a wash shows that my LSP was still on the paint surface as water just sheets off the paint surface effortless. I suspect , it has weaken the LSP , or should i say, reduce the slickness of the 1 month old LSP that was already on the car.

1 oz : 2 gal (1:256)
Pro-
This is the economical way of washing a car. For a properly maintain car which has light to moderate dirt, this is the dilution ratio that i humbly would recommend. The foams has bigger in size compared to the dilution ratio of 1:128 but nevertheless, foams are abundant and it shows after rinsing the car, the whole place around the car is still covered in foam (although sparingly). Washmitt still maintain the slickness (although not as slick as 1:128) and the cleaning power of the dilution has weaken (just marginal) either.
Cons-
A slightly weaker cleaning power has in fact, reduce it's capabilities in removing carcasses of bugs on the front portion of the car. You can actually verify that the shampoo it'self is sheeting/breaking up on top of the paint surface due to the LSP. The worse part of this dilution, is that the foam, is not as rich as 1:128. I LOVE FOAMS !!!! tongue.gif

Conclusion-
1:128 as claim by the manufacturer is a tad too strong for my liking even though i love the foams. Would be slightly more expensive as 1oz is about RM2. Nevertheless, for a confident wash when the car is super dirty (not rallying of cause), this is the dilution ratio to head for. No questions here. For an economical wash, 1:256 would still gives you the benefits of OC Wash minus the foams.

Next Up : Zaino Z7 Car Shampoo. Would review in a week or two time. wink.gif

Bro. spidey,

Thanks for the feedback.
I guess I got the same result when I increased the shampoo strength. Felt that squeaky touch rather than the sleek touch as the stronger concentration could have affected the LSP.

I guess you could try 1oz : 1.5 gal (1:192), that is what testing is about...... smile_thumbup.gif

Dun say like tht lah bro.. I really value those samples and keep it and use it properly.

Smaller size then ppl can afford and try mah. Not everyone will buy gallon. My sample bottle's are 16oz and I used bout 40-50 ml for 5 to 5.5 lit bucket for my normal wash. which can used for bout 11 wash = almost 3 months.
