Well, there is a new tire in town...its the Toyo DRB, I think it was launched last month.
Rated UHP and many sizes...please check it the sizes here:
http://www.ityre.com...yo/model/21157/
I went to the Japanese site and it is categories as 'street sport' wherelse 'Proxes' is UHP.
I think its an inbetween CT01 and T1R
Check it out:
Pictures are not mine...its googled
So any one using it? Whats the feedback?

Bro. azbro,
Central groove is at an angle.........wide to narrow....
Bro. mattz,
Have you tried ED tyres in Shah Alam. Was Toyo dealer, not sure now as long time never contacted them...
Hopefully not expensive, as Toyo tyres normally are....

rdgs,
Yup...looks really unique...hmm..what will they think of next?
So far there are some feedback from across the causeway...
Wets-T1R V pattern...there is no guessing.
Dry-DRB might even be better than T1R....T1R dry grip not the greatest in its class to start with.
Comfort-DRB is more quieter.
Any feedback from other users...
i think I'll go there again to check out the price tomorrow...DRB and Primacy LC...
Tell me what size you guys want?
195/55/15....others?
Vios 14inch?

for the size 205 55 R16, is only rated at V. for UHP tyres, i thought for this size at least must be W rated ??

Just got back from the Toyo shop (in JB)......err.....
are you ready for this!!
__________DRB______T1R
165/55/14 = RM280!!!___ X
195/50/15 = RM300!!!___RM250
195/55/15 = RM340!!!___Rm290
205/55/16 = RM360____RM350 - They bought this size alot, so prices are not so high like other size.
Can negotiate further...but I think can only less Rm10 per piece.
My God...Street Sport tires costing more than UHP or Extreme?
Made of Jewels or what? Just because they got profit selling the T1R they think they can get the same buying power with the DRB..
I wonder if it is worth the money investing in those....only suckers will buy them at that price..
Maybe KL selling cheaper...anyone checked?
