thanks bro, initially i tot is turbo timer... then only realize it is from fan running..

even got 1 uncle walk near to my car and check why it is so noisy after i turn off my engine... i am quite hardcore driving, that y the fan running quite long time.

actually, there is a relay supplying power to the electric fan - triggered by a temperature switch.it cools down the coolant inside the radiator, and effecting by cooling the engine too.

but my past experience with conti cars (peug, citroen and especially alfa romeos).. if the relay suddenly koyak, the fan goes on running until battery flat. especially if overnight, the next moerning cannot start.

so, its wise to ensure the fan runs if engine is too hot after a spirited drive but remember to ensure the fan also stops after awhile.

Exora Bold Premium - i am not happy with the accessories package costing RM4,310 is too expensive and ridiculous.

I hope the CEO of proton reads this or someone forward these comments to Proton management. I think this should be optional to customers and make the customer happy rather than frustrate them. Pls proton dont burden the customers with overrated stuffs coz we never know what we will be going thro with the turbo charged system.

coil mat
safety kit
boot organizer (useless)
number plate holder
tint film - too light so need to re-tint anyway
door visor
mutipurpose container (plastic cup!)
navigator - can buy for RM 399 for garmin brand from superbuy

As for discount, most outlet says none for bold 2012 but got 1 frm pj giving rm 1k for white color and another frm kl giving frm his comm rm 1.5 k for 2012 models.

My dear bold owners..

I'm considering bold for the sleek design, powerful engine and gadgeteries inside ( i.e dvd, reverse camera bla bla)

But being a proton product, and with complications of the turbo setup, can this beast perform well over 9 years ( not rich la..plan to use till abis loan term)?

Techy guru's or any proton affiliates, be it engineers or fans, can please enlighten me..

Thank you in advance..

in term of hardware should be no problem on the crank/conrod/piston department...

just a few case involving vvt mechanism but can be rectified from warranty claim once for good.... (unlike that power window problem of prev. proton keep on coming and coming)

on the software (sensor and all related) i've no comment yet...

hi everyone.
I just whacked my side mirror with a rogue tiang. Now the LED signal (left) is broken. Happy to see the side mirror just folded in and remote and led still work, in spite of the loud bang that can knock someone's head off. But not happy that Exora is not some Jap clone; parts are hard to get by.

I have zero faith with Proton.

My car have been in the COSE for 2 days. yet they have not fix it. Now it have to stay there for another day, it is, it will not able to fix all my complaint, just will solve the engine die problem.

To those who want to buy a car as a mode of transport, stay away from Proton.

Those who want to buy a car just to send to service Center, buy at all means.
