i was trying to respond to nextar's post for a gazillion times but didnt
get thru with the ori thread, so here goes...
================================
Quote nextar "Glad to have changed the auto and axle fluid. Cost me rm113.
What about
belting anybody know the cost?"
=====================
nextar,
hope you did ATF flushing, not just drain and fill
btw, belting is dirt cheap if done in normal workshop (that you know has
good workmanship) if you do at UMW the 3 belts alone will cost about $200
excluding workmanship
if done outside, my workshop only charges around $10 per belt (Bando brand)
and workmanship maybe another $10 per belt ... so you see the blood-sucking
difference ?
Cheers

newunser,
glad to have your support to move to the new part 2 Q&A. however, it's
quite sad to abandon the original thread that has been around for 7 YEARS
!!!! since 2001, no kidding !
i went thru the first few pages of the original Q&A (just 'walking' down
memory lane) and saw your posts there but in 2001 you were driving a manual
Unser? Did you trade in the manual for an Auto?
Back to the belting issue, with price like that, why should one go to UMW
SC i wonder? and also with that kinda price can change all belts yearly
still reasonable price

Hi LGX,
Hai yah, me not the same person as the one you saw at the begining of the
original Unser Q + A lah. It was just a coincidence that I used the same
name. However mine is with a capital N. It was only after a couple of
days later that I noticed that I have used the same name, and I wanted
to changed it, but after reading the post, I noticed that the other owner
was no longer active or maybe he has already sold off his angsa. So decided
to stick to it. Of course if the original owner of the nick is still around
and wants to use the name, please let me know and I will be very glad to
change my nick. I was actually thinking of changing it to "Oldangsa" since
the angsa is oledi more than 4 years.
cheers.

Hi LGX,
Yikes !!!! ya lah, since you mentioned it. I did not notice it. Anyway,
I'am not the person you see at the begining of the Unser Q + A tread.
I got hold of my angsa only in Mid Dec.2003.
