Saw R3/Eneos ad in hypertune. They are now selling R3 spring for waja at
RM356.25 (not minus 25% discount yet) at Eneos. Anyone has tried this?

Question. I own a waja EV with original 16" rims and 55 series tyres. You
guys think is it ok to change the spring from stock to R3 (with 35 mmm
lowered). A mechanic at a tyre shop told me that it is not advisable with
55 series tyres, as the tyre may touch the wheel arch.

nizan79, i'm riding on 18' wheels lowered with GAB sport spring and stock
absorber pun tidak kena wheel arch. the front spring i even cut grind by
one coil lagi, pun tidak kena. ok, maybe my tyres are quite thin (215/35)
but i think whatever QUALITY aftermarket lowered spring should suits your
waja's stock rims+tyres.

i think only la....Cool

the springs are meant to be used with short-stroke shock absorbers or the
standard ones?

bought it last week for RM356 at Eneos Bandar Utama. the original retail
price was around RM475. lowerd my car about 2 fingers from my wheel to
the arch, am using 205/55/R16. ride and handling felt much more
responsive although a bit stiff comparing to the stock. bouncy effect is
minimal.
