I saw this brand of lubricants the other day at one service centre in
Desa Sri Hartamas. It is from USA and looks impressive. I have heard of
this brand before while studying overseas but didn't realise the product
is finally in Malaysia. The brand is huge in USA and they develop some of
the latest car technology like electric power steering, airbags , ABS and
etc many years before we even knew about these safety features. The guy
at the workshop told me that Delphi now makes Maintenance Free batteries,
engine oil, brakes (in collaboration with Lockheed JApan) and other
products.

I am quite keen to try out the oil for my next service.

Yes, Delphi is huge in the US, often into many aspects. Core-competency
with oil? I am not sure. I rather trust oil companies to do the R&D and
rely on their oils. This is just a conservative statement, since we dun
know much about Delphi oil capability.

Is their oil API certified? Check here http://eolcs.api.org/

I can't find Delphi at all. Is it sold under another name?

I dunno man...I just saw API on the bottle. I think i will still try out
the oil. Since Delphi is the largest OEM car parts manufacturer in the
world. I think they would know enough about the engine and other
components to make engine oil. Their R&D in automotive components and
auto technology is one of the best so...I have confidence it.

Put it this way, would you rather trust local brands like NASA (yuck!)
than to trust Delphi? I know which one I will pick :P
