Can someone help me on the question below?

Did Kancil require new chamber installation in order to do wheel
alignment? Like wira will required a pair of chamber screw at the front
(people said it tipu punya) to carry out the alignment job, but not for
the rear wheel.

I am planning to rotate my kancil tires after 20K km and want to check on
the wheel alignment as well. Never done before it since I bought the car.

Thanks.

Camber screws are used to adjust the camber. Most shops fail to check the
correct camber settings. I've encountered poor alignment n balancing due to
lousy workmanship and oso many cheats.

BTW, i doubt the screws are fakes as monroe produces them as well. If you
dun use camber screws then are you pumping?

hmm...

when i state fake, i don't meant that it is non existence.

as far as i know, those screws that was sold by some mechanics that is out
to make a fast buck, are my main concern.

i don't pump my car to get the correct camber. If i really want to adjsut
the camber, for whatever reason, it is better to get those that is mounted
on the top portion of the suspension system setup.

by merely twisting the screw a lil here and tehre, i don't see how
accurate the camber setting could be set by those mechanics.

my 2sen worth.

i think u need to adjust the camber, bcos if u dun, the tire will be
unevenly worn out, car handling very crappy, acceleration oso crappy, car
loss control when roll over puddle of water at high speed, which was what
had happen to my kancil after driving less than rm10k km, the outer side
of the tire botak already, i try to claim warranty but wheel alignment not
covered, so did outside

after the camber alignment, its a huge difference, n the tyre is evenly
worn out, the uneven worn out tyre i rotate to the back ler

but one thing i dun understand is why i need to purchase the screw for
rm25, should there be a screw to adjust at the first place? the mechanic
said i need to buy the adjustable screw to adjust the camber, n need not
buy again later, the factory fitted one is not adjustable

The chamber screw is a bit different with the existing chamber screw in
kancil. I dunno about this kind of chamber screw until i went for tyre
changing of my aunt's kancil.... wow it's very expensive and they add in
workmanship also.... if i'm not mistaken it's around 40 bucks for putting
that little screw.... i have notice that it's definately have differences
however that little screw may coz less than 50cents for the manufacturer..
hey bridgestonere711.. you know where is the pro located ?? my kelisa is
around 1 year ++ .. i tot of doing some alignment and tyres
repositioning.....

Hi All,

What is the function of the "Chamber Screw"? My Kancil clock more than 80k
and the allignment always the problem for me. The P2 Service man was
telling me the damage of absorbe (still can be use but noisy) will cause
allignment out even u do the wheel balancing and alignment.

I don't know this is true or not and hope all "si-fu" out there give some
comment.

Thanks
