Be careful, it will work if it is in tune with the frequency the speed
trap is using. And in reality, if it works and you are speeding when you detect the scan, it will be too late already. On the other hand, if you detect the scan and you are not speeding, what is the point then? |

We are all told it is illegal, but it would be interesting to find out
under which section or clause it is defined as illegal. I am quite sure, our traffic laws was written long before the event of radar detectors etc and it is unlikely to be written with making radar detectors illegal in mind, but of course I could be the misinformed one. |

Be careful, it will work if it is in tune with the frequency the speed trap is using. And in reality, if it works and you are speeding when you detect the scan, it will be too late already. On the other hand, if you detect the scan and you are not speeding, what is the point then? if there are some cars on the highway, the detector will pick up the scan when it bounces off the car infront of you. if there are no cars on the highway, it'd be too late coz the scan it picks up is from your car. that's what the manual says when i had mine in the US. |
