Hi all sifus here.. Need your advice on my car's idle RPM..

I own a Proton Saga LMST.. Currently my mileage is about 102,000 km ++.. and when idling, with aircond, the idle rpm is @ 1000 ~ 1100 rpm.. without aircond, idle rpm @ 1500 ~ 1600 rpm.. Is this bad? I am concern about this because i heard many people's car idle below 1000rpm and for mine it is pretty bad that it is so high when aircond is off..

Thanks!~

Aiseh! above you mention with air con higher, ending sentence without air con higher, so which is which?

Anyway, LMST is carburetor model, so tune your air con fast idle. If it is the other way around tune your car normal idle speed.

In that case just check your air con fast idle working or not? If working, then lower down your normal idle speed.
If air con fast idle is not working, usually mechanic will set normal idle higher so that when air con cuts in it will become normal idle speed.
If set normal to lower, then when air con cuts in will drop and engine vibrate.

Refer to this picture. Not same as yours but as an example to see the two different screw adjustment...
At the bottom you see a idle and fast idle screw adjustment
