Between these two which one would you pick? n8000 is popular in the forum, just wanna know if anyone experienced both. Any other suggestion within that price? The time has come for my tyre change. F1 A2/D5 and PS3 sure nice but out of budget. Both tyre can survive in good condition up to 30k km, rite? My ride is 308 thp. Thanks. rolleyes.gif

The thread pattern looks like the old Made in Indonesia Goodyear Eagle Ventura. I used that before and it is a hard and noisy tyre. Not very good grip. I am not sure if Goodyear just recycled this or if there is any improvement in the tyre construction and compound.

Somehow, I suspect that the N8000 will be better.

Flee

RM280-380.

Pug 308 THP are on 225/45R17.
I have used the Blue Streak Stiletto before. Traction rating A, Temperature A. This tyre is soft, good comfy ride. Traction in dry is good, Aquaplane resistance also good, but wet traction a bit poor. If driving NA may be okay, but for my turbo it cannot hold sudden power boost in the wet and will wheel spin.
Having said that, have some members using Nexen N8000 and the feedback are pretty positive. Only negative feedback seems is dry grip as this tyre pattern have very large grooves to channel water therefore less rubber contact on the road.
Have not tried the N8000 before, but looking at the feedback I agree with bro. flee, that the Nexen should be better.

Ask bro. chargerguy. He tried N8000 on friend's car and now on C-Drive 2 on his PUG 308 THP

After 2 sets used of N8000 on my turbo car.. i had agreed with most other forumers that N8000 are seem less grip on dry surface especially on highspeed acceleration & cruishing as this can feel by steering wheel holding are light and as well the hard braking are not so steady and result is driver felt less confident on highspeedy smile_disapprove.gif ..but it with very good grip & holding on wet that give good confident to driver to go faster... smile_thumbup.gif

and also happen not long ago, i accidently rubbed one of my N8000 on piece of wood on very slow speed when try parallel parking and it result the tire side wall had puncture a big hole..and after inspection by one of tire shop and said the side wall rubber are dammm soft and thin...now only i know why i need to pump air atleast at 36 to make my tire to look like it's not under inflacted...

How fast you go to feel the less grip & how long you use the n8000 before you change it.
