So, don't expect marvellous aquaplanning resistance or grip. Secondly, it could be attributed to driving skills and sanity |

original tyres not fitted with Yokohama??correct me if i'm wrong. if they change 2 Continental ledi still remember last time when launching i saw the car is fitted with Yokohama In rain, it depends on how deep the water on the roads and direction of the flow of water and if you've studied physics before, it explains a bit on aquaplaning when a car goes through a large puddle of water after certain speed.. so it's not due to any poor handling etc and if you've noticed even posh German cars crash during heaving rain. -------------------- Cruiser

I remembered when i was driving my dad's Pug 405 up north to Kangar 13 yrs back. Was driving @ 140km/h, suddenly near Gurun hit the water puddle but gone thru without any drama!!! That time the tyre was GY Eagle GA only! |

As far as I know, Sylphy doesn't have traction control. Did your uncle instinctively press the brake pedal when it aquaplane? And was it at a curve?
If yes, that could be the cause. Normally when this happens, you'll need to let the car gain traction for some distance after hitting a puddle of water. |

Fxxk this Kwar... asking a stupic question here!!! Skid on wet can occur at many type of car. It depends on how deep is the water, how good is your tyre, how good is the driver, how good is the traction control manage (if equipped). Diu!!

guys, so far i have driven sylphy for the past 2 years and have no issue on road handling. It's a nice and comfortable car with good performance.
the accident cen be due to many factors, i think the most important is the actual road condition. |
