Hi, I am new here. To share my experience, I changed my T.B.

TWICE within a span of one week. Anyone break my record?

After Ist changed & tuned(at SA), the timing was unsatisfactory. Then
after 3rd attempt, it was worse, RPM rev unstable. So I claimed the TB
from the spare parts shop & installed at their workshop minus the tuning.
While I drove back home the RPM was very low. Luckily after I reached home
it became normal until now. That was about one month ago & still
monitoring it. All those involved said this was the first time they
encountered it & I hope it was the last for me after spending > RM 800.
May be it is not advisable to tune the TB after installation since
it was tuned before packing ?

What would be your best advise? Get it straight from EON SC? Is it ok if
i purchased it otside? After listening to this story, i'm a bit worried.
Guys..need your advise urgently

guys,
the IC cover on my old 1997 perdana sei TB also melted, diagnostic shows
the TB kicks in when the A/C is on. So mechanic says since the readings
and the gears inside the TB are ok then melted I/C plastic is not a
problem.but sometimes i do get jerky idling problem,
and engine dies off suddenly while waiting at traffic light and during
idling. all i do is replace the spark plugs and the problem solves for
about after 2000km and then the same symptom appears till i make another
spark plug job. looking at the the old spark plug it doesn't look wet or
oil on it and looks fine...something mysteriously going on here..
