saya browse thru forum kat autoshift esp yang ada elegan. Interesting,
nice group of members, tapi susah nak join sebab I tak paham lingo (sms?)
yg dia orang pakai. Kalu straight forward bahasa malaysia, senang sikit
nak join. secondly, to navigate dlm forum tu takes time to pick up unlike
this forum.
that being the case, I will continue with this forum and occassionally
jenguk dlm autoshift

Change front tyre to FKR due that workshop don't have Continental brand.
Went back after work using NPE, after 82km/h serupa riding "KUDA".
Usuallly 110 to 120 smooth riding.
Today went to SC Jln Ipoh. There try replaced it with same FKR but
differeny bunga. Same problem.
At last replace only front tyre bearing cost me RM 12.35. Same problem
like riding "KUDA".
Any eleganers can help me.
Note:
1-SC Subang workshop nice look than SC Jln Ipoh.
2-Database SC Subang and SC Jln Ipoh not link. You still need registered.

I guess the workshop dont have proper equipment & skill to change scooter
tyre. The workshop you went much be using spanar & korek-korek style.
It will damage your tyre side wall end(where the rubber connected to the
rim). The best is to use machine.
In this case the tire is consider damage & no warranty this kind of
damage. What you can do now is to bring the rim & tire to do balancing in
tyre shop if the workshop refuse to compensate you.
One more thing, I heard from my machanic that this tyre tend to shake& the
rubber tend to peel off after a period of time. Dunno true or not.

same goes to me after change to Magnum V brand, but now not too obvious la
the shaking, when rode till 110km/h, feel smooth and relaks...but when
reach at 80km/h, feel a bits shaking and then smooth when speed above that...
already ask the mecha at Modenas SC, Jln Ipoh, they said still need the ori
maxxis tyre for elegan to avoid riding like horse...but the price RM160,
now start to collect and keep..may be next year use back stock one....

This is a lesson for me not simply went to that kind of workshop.
In that case, I want to replace new tyre and new brand. (Nyawa penting ma)

for me.

can u be more specific abt ride like "kuda".. If there is some wobble, it
might be due to incorrect/low tyre pressure.

It same as when our car tyre out of balancing, the steering shaking.
For my bike , both of my hand, handle and side mirror was shaking.

Tyre shaking? try increase/lower the tyre pressure until you feel
comfortable, I found that minor variation of tyre pressure have great
impact to crusing experience.
I broke the kick-starter the other day, and that has cost me RM90!!
Did anyone use nitrogen instead of common compressed air for the tyres? I
use nitrogen for my car, and it feel great, don't know if it is the same
for elegen....
