V-Kool is a high respected brand. Their product is being used
on "Stealth" fighther plane and NASA. Got to give some due respect-lor!

I used Raybarrier (Eco-tint) now but still give high regards to V-Kool.
Brand or Marketing Strategy does not matter until u attain a certain
degree of reputation on your product.

In any case, long establishment in the market also important...otherwise
u 'll later discover that the shop that install your tint now "gulung
tikar".

got my v kool at tint shop @ Rm1500 for new civic. I dont think they will
cheat us with fake vkool film. If so, they will loose their business as a
authorized dealer for vkool. I think they are not dare to do so. Besides,
we can send our car to V-kool PJ HQ to cetifiy it;'s the ori 1. I have
been informed by one of the tint-shop in different area about how to
differentiate the fake and real . it's just by looking the film before
peeling off the transparent layer, the V kool logo is printed on it. V
kool elite ( 70 ) has its colour of light greenish when installed.

sumyeow,

The shop that u tint is very good bargain. Where is this tint shop?

I went to Puchong Tint-shop to quote for Elite. The price was RM1,700.00
and given 6 years warranty. But, I was concerned of their mix & match
technique esp. the front windscreen and the rest aren't the same material.

3M is very good. If you cant afford the C70, then go for the middle
range. It wont cost u more than 1k. I just tinted my black honda city
with the 3M middle range named EG610. Its good and wont cost much.

Vkool is made of metal base. After a few years, it is common to see
corrosion on the tinting. 3M is a top fortune 500 company in the world.
Quality is always there. What is Vkool??

Go to Prostyle Tint in Kuchai Entrepreneurs Park. Tel no. 03-7980 1102.
They only carry 3M tinting. Workmanship is excellent. I was introduced by
another forummer. Now its my turn to return others a favour.

BTW, all 3M tinting has got the watermark 3M on their paper. Therefore,
you can tell whether it is 3M or fake.

Car tint, once installed, that's it. How to change tint and try out.....ha! ha! smile_tongue.gif

Anyway, on V-Kool gold dust, I have this problem on my wife's car.
After the 5 years warranty (almost 6 years), behind left window and driver front window started to peel.
But was told most tint will become like that after 5 years..... smile_sad.gif
