I dunno if this is possible, can i connect the earphone jack at the DVD unit to the line in jack at the HU?
Its a simple connection from one line out to one line in. Should be possible.
Just be careful. Headphone out is not Line out.
Signal from most headphone outs have been amplified to drive hphones.

1) whoooa whoooa sound from engine? or from other part? U mean turbo kick in whinning sound?
2) is that ur tuner channel is properly tune?
1. Not sure. I assumed it the turbo kick whinning sound. My question is that why the noise is louder during slowing down and not during accelarating? Any owner notice this? If it is typical, I guest Proton need to improve the noise insulation so that the noise will not be so iritating.
2. Channel is tuned to the frequency of the centre DVD unit.
tq

Hi Rewlz,
You can send email on the CVT thread in this Proton forum. Hopefully Mr Kristof can answer your question.
But I suspect your item 1 sound is same as my humming sound. Is it the sound when you put into reverse gear, but car not moving (you press the brake)? Then that is normal for Exora Bold. Kristof has an explanation for that (see one of the past replies on one of the threads.

Hi all,
I noticed that my EB produce a weird sound when I start the engine after parking for too long
(morning, afternoon or evening, it doesn't matter). If I turn off the engine and restart it back, the sound's gone. However, I'm not sure whether it's related to "one way valve" issue or not. The sound is a bit soft, more like a sound when you start your cooking stove. It's something like
"kchek" ("i'm referring to cap ayam cooking stove, not sure how the super brand one sounds like ").
Thoughts anyone???
If it's confirm a one way valve issue, I'll be more than happy to send it to SC.

Sent for EB for 1,100 km service yesterday.
My complaints:-
1. Squeking noise from undercarriage - solve by tightening
2. Abnormal noise during cold start - unresolve. waiting for one way valve. need 3 days to replace. deep inside engine (?)
Costs:-
Petronas Syntium 800 103.00
oil filter 12.22
gasket, drain plug 3.32
screen wash (unnecessary) 5.71
Total 124.25

I haven't brought my EB for 1K servicing. is it free labor? Other than that, the price looks ok.
The noise during cold start, confirmed it is one-way valve problem?

Does the 2012 bath also has one-way valve problem?
I have not pay much attention during start-up.
This is not good.

Mine is manufactured in 2012. They will only replace it when the customer complains.
