I just drove my car for a month & notice that the FC for city driving is quite worse. RM50 only for 220km...FYI my livina is fully impul 1.8(A). Can i do this ECU reset to my car even though it's still new?? Does it have any bad effect by doing this?? Thanks...

R u using 95 @ 97? $1.90 or $2.90 per litle?
My 1.6A using 95, average 8~9 km/litle

Thanks Bro Nokia6280 for the info. I wonder why the steps to reset the ECU is so complicated? I can understand multiple steps to prevent accidental resetting, but these steps are really too much.

May I know how you got the information? Thanks.

I'm using Ron 95 & yesterday i did the ECU resetting(step & release the acceleration pedal). Not sure whether it bring any effect or not. But right after finish did the reset ECU, felt the car became 'lighter'. Hehehe...or is it just my mind tricking on me...

From my experience it's will but after a while maybe a full tank of period the ECU will have enough data to process for a suitable driving behavour that for you.

I did a petrol change to test out my ECU re-action and in fact the ECU will switch according how your driving behavour for the new petrol but too bad that petrol gave me poor performance, poor FC and rough ride.

At the end i have to reset my ECU after punping in my regular petrol..
