last time i send my car to mutiara damansara SC for major services ( still warranty period ) so i can lepak at the curve, watch movie at cineleisure. but i have to take leave.
for warranty part replacement. i go to Kesas COE. but normally left my car there and pickup tomorrow.
after warranty. i go to find campro specialist workshop. cheaper, faster. some of the workshop operator is also once a proton senior technician that decided to quit and do their own business.
they won't put X1-R lah... there is a circulation from proton to their SC's on this matter few months ago...

what major service are you referring to?
i am exo cfe user. on service interval time, i expect a 2 hour wait for normal lube like oil and coolant replace while during belt replace ('major'?) it WILL cost me up to half a day given that an appointment is made in advance...mind you, the 'appointment' is just for you to book a slot - it does not mean the moment you come in at the 'booked timing', they will start working on your car right away! :-) .
but anyway, just sharing - the exo im using has clocked almost 100k km now.
cvt fluid, belt acc drive and plug changed at 60k -- this was at proton jalan chan sow lin, kl (3hours)
timing belt, tensioner bearing at 90k -- this was at proton (eon) segamat, johor (3hours)
for normal lube service i just go to nearby authorized sc, marked proton edar or sometimes those that share locations with petronas stations where you usually need not even have to make prior booking - i've done this at petronas/proton edar jalan kepong, proton edar kajang, and proton edar nilai.
yes, i travel everywhere and go for service anywhere that are close... :-)
i must also advice the same like you seen in previous post - some, if not ALL of those i've went WILL attempt to pour in X1R to your car. this is their easy money. proton as the manufacturer had never recommended this in the first place, but this is the act of the SC at their own wish. so do some study of what is expected to be serviced and replaced. these items are NOT required:
- X1R (comes as fuel additive, engine oil additive and probably coolant additive too! say NO to all!!!)
- bacteria disinfectant service (they use some kind of smokey-smokey stuff and claim to bug off bacteria)
- oil filter magnet ring (claimed to prevent any small metal particals untrapped by the filter itself) ewwugghhhh....just say no lah.

How much for the cvt fluid replacement and how much did they pour in?
On the service time, sometimes i took 1 and a half day just to change an engine oil, imagine that..hahaha.
i diy on my sibling's car and sometimes had to jump in on another repair so end up draining the engine oil for a whole day.

they used 2 bottle.i would just use one bottle.
they are more detail then.
rm40 for a bittle of cvt fluid is not expensive.

If your atf compatible with Pennzoil Multi Vehicle ATF, try that because much cheaper. 4L around RM90, if get at warehouse sale from UMW around RM65 if not mistaken....
