Penny wise, pound foolish......My old , old ride should benefit very well with this, as the rubber are now super compressed.... smile_blackeye.gif

"Penny wise, pound foolish" - I haven't heard that in a while...

Your old, old ride would also benefit from a bl@wj@b from Desmond too...

Will these products work for Ford Focus.

There is wind noise for Ford Focus starting from 100km/h. The wind noise gets louder at higher speeds. Can any of these products work for the Focus by making it quiet up to 150km/h? In other words, no wind noise up to 150km/h?

Actually how does this wind noise come up? Does the wind seep through the rubber seal between the door and windscreen?

I dont think these products will work for your focus. if you are rich, do try different methods by all these so called experts and proven resutls.

the most effective way is to run your vehicle through wind tunnel and detect where the source is. typically, its wind noise is design flaw (or compromise).

mr. autofoam will tell, you to foam here and there. i am almost certain that it will make little or no difference.

then he will recommend head package, bottom package and ketiak package.

it too will help little. but after 3 rounds, you realised that you've been taken for a ride.

if you enjoyed the ride, its fine. but if you didnt, you would be poorer and unsatisfied.

Almost a month old, but I'll chip in my 2 cents... Wind noise at speed is terribly hard to get rid of. Door visors, wing mirrors, gaps in wheel wells can all contribute. If it's a whistling sound in your cabin, then there's a gap somewhere. I had wind noise issues past 120km/h, and traced it to a very tiny gap between my roof panel and sunroof - so even slightly ill-fitting body panels can be a pain in the neck.

hence, a proper wind noise solution is to actually run it through a wind tunnel. wind tunnels can simulate head wind, and cross wind. pin point the source.

then call yourself a specialist, because you will 100% fix that issue.

Not, taking a needle and stabbing it, maybe just maybe, fix the issue.

for me, thats as good as saying, the proton is the best car because you havent driven any other car out there.
