125ZR. I'm a noob to 2stoke bikes. I'm planning to buy a Yamaha 125 but i
dunno which one i should buy.
What i do know about these bikes is that Y125ZR has no catalyzer, and it
consume more petrol than Y125Z. I don't know if this is true or not, pls
someone conform it for me.
And can please someone tell me what does a catalyzer means, how it
functions and maybe a picture of it ( if possible ) :P .
And not to forget, the price of both the bikes..
Please consider answering my questions, someone :D. Thank you very very much.

125z n 125zr basically r the same bike..
only differ on stripe n rim... plus side mirror maybe.....
125z also hv catalyzer..
exhaust system that control emmision...
i am pretty sure the exhaust system (catalyzer) makes the bike run slower..
most of the rempit will korek standard exhaust to gain speed..
anyway..
it's all about environmental....
if u really want 2 stroke bikes..
than go 4 it...
only rxz, 125z n kawa zx150 is the last generation of 2 stroke bikes..
most of the manufacturer will produce more 4 stroke bikes...
bye bye stroker..

a good bike. I had a tough decision too choosing between 125Z and 135LC
and i chose 125Z with no regrets. I bought my 125ZR brand new, the
blue/black but swap the black cover with the 125Z blue cover. So my 125ZR
has sport rims but with the 125Z sticker on blue cover. Z or ZR are just
the same; its only the stickers and rims that makes the difference. The
ZR with the sport rim would be a better buy in terms of good tyres and
less incidence of punctured tyres. Didnt really record fuel consumption
but full tank is RM9.00 and castrol 2T semi-synt is about RM16.....Do
inform us when u have made the choice...Good Luck.

But what's bothering me is, it consumes a lot of petrol and also 2T. And
since the oil price is up, it's gonna be a problem financially.
I also heard from a few friends that, it depends on the rider himself on
how he rides the bike.
But still, i'm gonna buy the bike, use it for a few years, then buy a
superbike, after i master the clutching part :P
Can someone please tell me the price for 125zr, i've tried searching the
net for it, but still can't find out the price.
And, i thank you guys for providing me with all the information that i need
to know about the bike. Thanks a lot ;)

i must say that 125z will be a legend in yamaha history (like the y100,
125LC/RD, RXZ). You can't get a better a cub than 125z. Yamaha... It's

bargain or not? Previous owner wasn't a rempiter as i can see there is no
modification made. Heck it stil use the old rims. No leak at the block.
Brake needed new pads and oils. Disk brake okla tak calar sangat. Can
hantar to machine. I double stand it and look from behind. Chasis tak
bengkok. It means tak eksiden lagi. Help!
