Dear All Shifus,

l have read about Mercedes W124 modified to Nissan RB20 engine and Toyota 1JZ turbo engine and sold at the price of

around RM20K. l am thinking of whether it is advisible to modify this Benz model to Toyota VVTI engine with auto gearbox.

l request for viewpoints and advice from all shifus.

Thanks.

Regards.

Dear 'd7zul,
Thanks for your valuable view which is the only one l received by date.
Another option is convert the W124 model to mercedes KOMPRESSOR engine. Well nowaday one Benz W124 costs around RM10K and Toyota 1JZ VVTI engine is around 6K or Benz KOMPRESSOR engine is around RM4K. This means with a total budget of around
RM 15K to 18K, you can enjoy driving a big, comfortable, stable and powerful limousine.
l think it is a good investment, isn't it?

Hope to receive viewpoints from other comrades

Thanks.

Regards.

Mercedes better fit with Mercedes engine especially the engine mountings must be fitting. Any mod of engine mounting difficult or cannot get approval from JPJ.....
