Hand held as in car battery operated or rechargeable battery? I am using car battery operated for easy cleaning and when very dirty I am using house hold electrical unit. My car unit have serve me well and been using for many years but of course suction not that strong.... smile_tongue.gif

Car handheld vacuums are usually not strong. Good only for minor cleanups. Black & Dekker sells handheld vacuums that have rechargeable battery, so no wires, but the battery lasts about 15 minutes. Dyson also has one but very, very expensive >RM1000, and even then their battery also lasts about the same. So far, these two have the most powerful suction for handhelds, but of course cannot compare to the house vacuums (AC powered).

Update: Electrolux also sells handhelds but that unit is part of the larger unit. (Ergorapido) but still expensive, but at least not as crazy as Dyson's.

Shark Rocket Vacuum (HV301) is the best hand held vacuum for cars known to me so far.. It has versatile floor to ceiling cleaning. This is better than I thought it would be!!It is perfect for carpet and hardwood and tile floors , very light and easy to use. The powered forward motion on carpet is wonderful!! I would recommend this Shark Rocket Ultralight to everyone.
