wajarays, how many whp you get after the bolt on turbo?

To me, an engine swap is definitely a better choice. For Waja, raod legal
maximum is a 1.8 GSR. Standard 1.8 GSR will give you about 170-180whp.
The manual halfcut will be around RM8500 for a good one and with
installation and parts will add another RM3000 to it.

2nd choice will be 4G92 DOHC MIVEC from a CJ4A or CK4A. Standard MIVEC
1.6 (non turbo) will give you about 140-150whp. Manual halfcut will be
around 6000-6500 for a good one.

Turbocharged a standard 4G18 I think will give about 130whp only. Unless
of course, more money being dumped in to replace the piston and many
other things more. For that kind of money, better go for a transplant of
GSR....

IMHO, its all depends on your budget.

for RM7.5k definately go for bolt on. in wpc we already have 2 bolt on
waja, one of the is wajarays.

another waja was running 0.8 boost which can generate 160bhp.

total cost involve was not exceeding RM7.5k

further mods can be done to bolt on turbo is to change the fuel pump,
additional fuel injection and engine management.

however, if you running on low boost e.g. 0.5 bar, the current fuel pump,
injector and engine management is still sufficient.
