Hi all I just want to ask about the alarm remote transmitter unit. I'm sure most of you here bought your M8 new. How many alarm remote transmitter did you got when you receive your car? I bought a 2nd hand M8 and I were given only 1 alarm remote transmitter unit. The salesman told me that new car also got only one unit. Is it true?

I got 2.

Hi,

With the introduction of Biante, is Bermaz discontinuing the Mazda 8 in Malaysia? I don't see the M8 on their website anymore.

Anyone knows?

Thanks

Slightly cheaper alternative is to duplicate the chipped key only... take out the knob and insert the key as usual if need to start your m8 using that duplicate key.

The original key contains a chip. If you merely cut a new key at some locksmith the ignition lock will not turn..

Yup, can ask the locksmith to duplicate with and without chip, depending on your needs and budget smile.gif
