Hi, I just took over a 2011 Teana from a friend of mine. So far it's been decent except it's a little too big which will probably take me a few days to get used to.

I do have one question. Anyone know how to play video files from a USB stick? It doesn't seem to work for some reason. Maybe I got the wrong format files? My USB stick is formatted in FAT32 and I've tried mp4 and avi file but both failed.

I've tried to search this forum but for some reason I can't find any relevant information.

Thank you very much for your help.

Sorry, but what's HU?

Head Unit meaning your Car Stereo main control. 2011 is 6 years ago tech so might not support current files or maybe HU do not even support video through USB. Like my older set can play DVD disc but don't support video through USB

This is embarrassing. I should have checked the user's manual before I start asking stupid questions.

Turns out it can play AVI files and I just didn't know how to operate the system that's all. Once I read the manual and found the right buttons to push it's all fine now.

Thank you for your help.

No problem. Questions are never stupid since you don't know in the first place. Anyway, solution found so settled and you are welcome.....
