i also notice they change the main screen, and also remove real time video.
maybe the server can't handle that much of load..

Hmm, i thought they invest lots of money on the infrastructure, how come
server cannot handle the load..

specially named fund when they set up something in malaysia to balance
their book.You know I know lar....highway time 1998 rm 6 billion,sekarang
2006 rm 3 billion with same design, mind boggling if you factored in the
inflation and increase in material cost still cost 3 billion cheaper...the

ummm... "invest lots of money on the infrastructure" does not mean they
really spend the money well, buy ferrari as a pasar car, or maybe(bigger
possibility is what tewniasing mention) the out source company markup
alot just to "award somebody else" who knows, this is "gov.my"
not "com.my" or else. Big Smile

but based on yesterday visit, is about 70% to 80% of contain already been
removed, just a basic image you can look at, no map, video and even
the "about us" is empty as well, thats why all of us can access, last
time are talking bout 1XXKB to 2XXKB size a page, now only 2XKB a page, ~
5 to 8x more faster to serve a client.

previously their GUI design is the problem, big one, not efficient,
everytime postback for just a single click, thats why server bz just to
return some area when you click on the highway, when we click click here,
click click there, here click there click everywhere click click, Big Smile
server just simply serve for nothing, use client javascript la.

1st time launching new things % of screw up is high even for a private
company, when Microsoft 1st intro their Win98 also get a blue screen.

but anyway, thanks to gov, we not add one more link to get road
congestion info, keep it up.
