I would like to warn every one not to buy this Brand called SHOJI, I bought a set from Stronger Auto Parts Subang,
on 19 January 2014, after using it for less than 3 months, my steering started vibrate each time I brake.

I have replace it with Bosch Disc and the problem has been solved, I ask the shop can I get a refund if there are
any problems and they say yes they will claim it for me from Bosch, they say so far they have not had any claims
and so far the disc is performing very well together with a new set of Bosch brake pads.

I then took the Shoji to the shop I bought from and ask for a refund, they told me there are a few customers doing
the same and the company distributing this brand (Shoji) refuse to give a refund unless it is used less than a month
old. They even give me the name & number of the company distributing this brand ( Capital Marketing in 757, Batu
4 1/2, Jalan Ipoh).

I called them, and the person there made all sort of excuse, saying the manufacture will not honour the claim as the disc
brake has already been used more than 1 month, the boss was very busy, the boss was not around...etc, etc...
I even told him that I will warn others about this and he can say, Go Ahead, this is just too much!

I feel I have been CHEATED! This product is really CRAP! angry.gif

So warning to everyone, use this brand (SHOJI) at your own RISK!!!!!!

Agreed!!better use at least some branded products due to safety concerns..I skimed my disc last few years and thought of changing it to BOSCH if the vibration comes back...

I was told that this distributor also bring in fake Brembo discs, so buyer beware.

Thanks for the info on Shoji.
Usually, they are 4 brands available as OE replacement.
Shoji, TRW, Brembo and Bosch.
Capital Marketing is one of the distributor for the the first 3 brands.

Between the the 3 brands distributed by them, was told Brembo is better as I have used Brembo (standard version), TRW but not Shoji. The TRW disc is too soft and will worn out after 1 round of brake pad change. No defect detected from both brands when personally used.

Hi Guys,
Wanted to know if anyone has an indicative pricing (or actual pricing would be much appreciated) for the brands mentioned earlier (Shoji, TRW, Brembo, Bosch and LPR - discs and brake pads) for Perodua Myvi 1.3 (year 2006)?

Is there BREMBO - OEM from Taiwan - I had surveyed and was informed that it costs RM150 (2 disc) and brake pads RM50 (if bought together with disc) - spare part shop in Petaling Jaya. If brake discs purchased separately would be RM80. Is it a safe buy?

Look forward for your valuable feedback.

Thanks
Kelvin
