Sometimes its depend on the driver mood. Some driver like to cucuk others
car and never overtake them even they have chance to do that.
Experienced it last month when i at Subang. I follow one black 1.7 civic
from USJ 5 until Subang Jaya toll plaza, racing looks 1.7 civic driver
gave me thumb down after out from toll plaza. Just about before 360'
corner to Damansara I start to show him how good RS handling and what this
198nm torque car can do out from corner.
I don't have any major problem with my RS, just a cracking sound from rear
left and leaking cylinder head. Can SC replace the gasket for free?

Hello,
I hv not chanllenged any of the Satria GTi yet, heard they are fast
somemore manual, pickup will be more responsive then RS auto. I think.
Since I drive RS i receive a lot of challenge from others on the road
particularly those protong who are staring at me all times.
These are my experience.
Incident 1 : There was one time at Kesas midnight before a toll I was
driving 90km/h towards paying toll, a protong iswara with light at the
bottom of the car looks like modified and agreesive and sounds big
overtook me. Right after settling the toll, i start to accelerate and
overtook that fellow far far away. That fellow got angry and chase me hard
far sometime, later i slow down to exit to my destination. that fellow
overtake me, i believe during that time the speed were 160km/h. That
fellow was so daring.
Incident 2: I was in South toll puchong towards Tesco there driving speed
up 140 awirawhich i noticed later chase me up very quick, that fellow car
is fast also must be a modified one. Keep tailing me back until at the
Tesco area where the traffic is congesting, he go his way, i go mine.
Overall, It very depends on the driver skills and dare to go fast.
However, RS still at the front to Altis, Civic and Waja. For Sure.

Well, perhaps I should try it out. I drive a Ford Lynx RS and my wife
drives the Satri GTi. I reckon the torque of Ford Lynx RS is still better
then the Satria GTi but I have no say about the Satria R3. If I am not
mistaken, the R3 is lighter, with a manual transmission and a 205/45/16R
Yokohama tyres and with a similar horsepower. Although it has a lower
torque, I think under such a spec, it will most definitely bit my Ford RS.
When it comes to looks, I like the R3 rims and tyres plus the bucket
seats. Even the brake disc is painted red. I also like the polished
header as well. Only the dash board is the same la. Don't like the
steering and the radio though.

Well..if you dont beleive him...do you beleive the auto journos? both
Cars.My and Autocar ASEAN had comparison reviews between the Lynx RS and
Civic 2.0, both reviewers said that the Lynx handled better and was the
better car
1.7 can go 200kph? no problem mar...even Gen 2 can hit 215kph ...its
not how fast you can go..its how your car handles at high speeds thats
important

Guys...
Need help, something wrong with my RS. There's cracking sound from rear
left and handling quite scary now. Last week on the way to Kedah the car
feels like floating/hard to keep the car traction in wet road (about
100kmh).
Any idea what went wrong???

Also suspect the same thing (the mounting), will visit Penang SC today and
post the finding.
