With this kind of price, i expect a part to last very very long. Not 4 years.

With this kind of price, i expect a part to last very very long. Not 4 years.
A friend driving altis 2005 already change his both driveshafts twice and the recent repair cost 8K with labour at UMW service ctr. Why nowadays toyota oart spoilt so fast? Low quality to make more money or service ctr just don't want to repair part by part but to change the whole set for their easy job and earn profit for their branch?

Wah so expensive? Confirm or not? Lexus Harrier '05 driveshaft only RM1.5k plus. If warranty already ended, better buy from spare part supplier for less than half the price. Just start looking for any workshop owned and managed by certified engineer. Not lesen mekanik gantung.

When the driveshaft boot start to crack. Better change it immediately before it torn, grease already dried up and the sand spoil the joint. Any mechanic will recommend to change it complete since the driveshaft will make noise during driving.
