other big company cars, bear in mind the usage of airbags will become
effective when we follow the safety guidelines. Don't overcrowded ur
vehicle, check ur tyre pressure, drive only within the limitation of ur
car safety (eg: if u drive Kancil 150 km/h i think if there's a cross wind
boleh terbang itu Kancil).. Plus if u gonna buy a car, check safety items
like protector bar, front side and back, safety crash zone and others. Oso
check ur brake effectiveness.. I would prefer ABS rather than airbags.
Plus the installation of airbags after the crash impact oso quite
expensive. But not everybody have the same perceptions. Make the decision
making on what u need. Cheers.

will win?". Well the really winners are Proton and Naza because they are
able to 'steal' rakyat's hard earned money as both cars are well shall I
say are overpriced. .

They offered something for sale because it is their nature of business.
We as consumer still have a choice if we want to buy or not. They didn't
steal rakyat's money. It is us the consumer who chose to buy. Don't like
it don't buy. Feeling not worth it, don't buy. Feeling overpriced, don't
buy. You want to buy, because you need it.

I am refering to the exhorbitant car prices in Malaysia. For a national
product why should it take an ordinary rakyat to take up to 9 years to
finance the car? I honestly think that the price of cars can even go
lower.

Just give you a fact. It costs only 80,000 British Pound in to own a BMW
M6 in England. A normal BMW 6 series will cost more than RM700,000.00 here
in Malaysia. Forget about the BMW M6. You will not want to know how much
it cost here in Malaysia.
However, I also recognised that when I bought my Wira 1.5 Manual in 1999,
it was priced at RM50,600.00 with full accessories. The car loan interest
was 7.6% per annum. The car prices hasn't risen since and as a matter of
fact it had dropped (quality issues aside). On top of that, the car loan
interest rate had dropped significantly ever since. Meaning, the cost to
own a car had dropped too.
The car HP policy had changed too. The max car loan tenure had risen to 9
years from 5 previously. This allows lower income group to own a car as
well. Of course, they will opt of 9 years loan. At the same time, the
higher income group will opt for bigger car because of the longer tenure
and lower interest rate. That does not provide the picture of "it takes an
odinary rakyat to take up to 9 years to finance a car". Correct me, if I'm
wrong.
