the acces point belongs to a higher learning institute.
i hav to enter username and password on their homepage b4 i can use the net.
i believe its nothing to do with my browser setting.
any idea?

The wifi software got profile setting 1, you can use this to set setting with automatically log on as your default connection

not possible, you need to have the username and password.

Its well protected with WEP.
You'll definitely need the Network Key to login to the network. No way to bypass.

if it is WPA Version 1, yes... u can get hacker tools to hack.. i hack WPA version 1 before(2-3 years back)...
WEP and WPA Version 2, cant hack
