From my past research and findings, do NOT do flushing as the normal gearbox do. The "proper" way for AL4 is to do multiple ATF change until the ATF is clean.
How it is done?
Change the ATF - drive for about 1000KM, go for ATF change again. (This is according to a PDF document by the Citroen Car Club).

ah so theoretically, by doing multiple pan ATF change, the fluid inside the torque converter will be mixed with the newer fluid once the vehicle moves eh? Ic ic. That will be expensive though.

Yup, but it depends on the condition of your ATF, which will determine how many times you need to change. You need to change the Filter too, usually they didn't change for you I think.

As a side note, on the pan, there should be a small magnet which helps to trap metal particles, etc. The magnet is small according to my friend.
If you heard about Oil Filter Magnet, there is also magnet for gearbox filter, it sticks at the outer layer. Not sure if it is safe to use this though. Magnets is not good for your electrical components, so,....

full flushing is even more exensive and as andy said, not recommended. personally, i've been through all that stuff.
multiple drain-and-refill (twice is enuff) should be good enough. to kept the cost at a minimum, don't do it at authorised SC. plenty peugeot specialist outside know how to change the ATF properly and at a much lower cost.

that's why some of us do advise owners to change the ATF at 30,000km interval rather than 60,000km (as practice/stipulate by SC). at 30K km, the ATF wouldn't be too dirty and sticky. beside, the earlier, the better for the gearbox. small price compared to a damaged gearbox repair.

most importantly, stick to Esso LT71141 ATF oil (unless you are very sure what you are doing). dont fall prey to sweet talk from some 'performance centre' owners. This is your car gearbox, they wouldn't bear any responsibility if its broken.
