Wow, that's really not that bad for a car like that.

heard that 3.0L perform similar with 2.2L on city driving ( 2.2L under power for frequent start-stop environment ), but 2.2L excels in highway.

These few days heard of some vibration sound from the aircond compressor, and sound from the engine pulley area, went to check, the aircond compressor "KONG", and the bearing faulty, so replaced it new, and cost about RM1600 for the aircond compressor, and RM850 for the bearing and timing belt.......all in RM2450 included workmanship, now the car smooth and quiet....biggrin.gif

1st Generation
2.2L I4 (5S-FE) = FWD (MCU10) or AWD (MCU15)
2.4L I4 (2AZ-FE) = FWD (MCU10) or AWD (MCU15) ... facelift version
3.0L v6 (1MZ-FE) = FWD (MCU10)or AWD (MCU15)

FWD = Front Wheel Drive
AWD = All Wheel Drive

Most economical to run = low petrol consumption and road tax ( i.e. 2.2L )

Most economical to maintain = engine that has less parts ( i.e. FWD )
