like what uncleD commented .. the direct in-ur-face led is pretty visible as the DRL ... just that it doesn't make full use of the reflector ..
I think white is more glaring and suitable for DRL .. since the whole purpose is to be notice ...

amber will not be that glaring anymore .. also minus the COOL factor.

oklah, since all in all it's just ard RM25, i'll give it a try la. i'll be the guinea pig to do it & will post pics after that.
if u guys think it's not too lousy & don't look like grandpa's car, then u can try out also.

i will try & let u all know.
u know those bicycle led? during the night, their flash is so bright, only 3 leds - red colour. not sure how bright is the yellow colour & how it would be like in the day time but maybe shinning right at your face, u may notice. & like uncleD said, yellow will be more visible in the day. coz normally we ignore the glare of a concentrated white light because we think it's some reflection of the sun. we'll see. as usual, i'll need help changing it.

it is not very very bright but i think is enough coz not for main light ma..just as a DRL which i thinks it look cool..hahaha...still can be seen in day time....if want brighter need to choose those SMD LED type gua...and with the sides also have LED also

Can try dealextreme.com.... Look for super bright white led... And they ship to Malaysia also..

Just saw my cheapo white led yesterday night. Looks cool with the starry sparkle u normally associate with hid.
