Tires I've used with the 308T

CsC3- Great tires that came with the 308, best...but sidewalls fragile, not for Malaysia pothole roads
S1Evo: New was good, half life rowdy and lose grip fast
RE050A: Very good, but prone to tramlining at uneven surface
PS3: Great too...best for raining weather....but prone to chipping/cracking
V105: So far no probs for this, still testing it out. Better dry grip than PS3, but monsoon rain cannot beat PS3
Rs3: No money to get AD08R, had to settle for this. Very very grippy since its Extreme performance tires. Not for the wet. Steering feels heavy, car also feels heavy with all that grip, FC also worst. Noise also crazy... But comes alive when pulling G's at corners. You can wack corner as much as you like

Wish list:
GY Asy2
S001
CsC5 (but I got a feeling the sidewall will also be fragile)
RE002

My Choices for tires of the 308T will be:
Advan V105 and Potenza S001.
But I've yet to try the GY Asy2. Should be there with the greats, unless the quality lets it down.

Do take note that 308T left front tire wears of fast at the side threads. So you need to exchange left and right to take them even, then front to back if you need.

Rear tires plays important part in the ESP. So pls maintain to rear tires too

Price, you have to find out yourself because maybe not same everywhere.

Bro. azbro,
I thought the V105 had improvement in the wet, which is very much better then previous V103.
GY Asy2 I have tried and can say very good. UK Tyre review still put them in top 5 after these few years.
CSC5, yup my ex colleague use 2 and one got cracked sidewall... smile_blackeye.gif
RE-002 traction rate A only unlike the others you have mentioned are AA rated.

I have to say, PS3 for me very high racked when it comes to aquaplaning test.
The best is of course is F1GSD3 is any wet condition.

GSD3 is the wet king legend dy. Directional that have long straight grooves.
Actually aquaplaning resistant for asymmetric the Nexen N8000 is pretty good. Big grooves to channel water but then having too large the grooves means less rubber therefore grip suffers a bit especially in the dry.... smile_blackeye.gif

As mentioned by bro. azbro GY Asy2 for 225/45R17 is around RM540 to 560.
I know 215/45R17 is RM460 and 235/45R17 is RM630 as I asked before..... smile_tongue.gif

MC5 I heard are not that good and still expensive.
N8000 should be below RM400, Not sure of GT Radial HPY now but used to be below RM400 also.
Real cheap then got for Achilles ATR Sports, these should be around RM260 or so.... smile_tongue.gif
