yup, is Iswara '95.

Morning start-ups are difficult. Must press pedal for a while after
starting or else engine will die.

Usually after tuning, idle rpm does not remain consistent. Sometimes behave
well, sometimes only at 500rpm (but haven't experienced engine dying off at
traffic lights) ...

Are these the signs?
How do i fix them? change carb? Frown

my bro suggest double webber carb ... Wink

let a experience mech check out your autochoke. Mostly jammed. Webber no
doubt give you very good power but FC will kill you..RM10 for 50KM you
want ar ?

I think this is not the auto-chock problem. Some cars, like the Toyota
Corolla LE, have caburattor service kits. Proton doesn't have. So there is
nothing much you can do with your cab. I used to have an Iswara 1.5I Auto
93. I gave it a new cab in 2003 due to the same problem you are
experiencing now. The new cab was about RM1000.00. It solved all the
problems and gave good fuel consumption. Old cab, I clocked 14 -
15cents/km and new cab, 10 cents/km.

Have a nice day.

Gosh, I didn't know webber carbs affect FC that much!!!
Thanks for the tips .. wasn't actually considering webber. Just that my bro
is more of a car enthusiast than me.

1 mechanic i know had some parts to service the autochoke on my car some
time ago. Helped with problem for some time, now it's back. Guess that's
not the permanent solution.

Might consider the new carb if all else fails. Can we use 1.5L carb on the
1.3L engine?? hehe ..

Yes, 1.3 carb = 1.5 carb.
I have one old carb. How can I pass it to you, g88?
