Hie,
I am currently driving a japanese Nissan, thinking of switching to a
continental car in future but would be a first time for me to drive a
continental car.

I had in mind:
i) Volvo 240GLE Fuel-Injection
ii) Citroen ZX Auto 1.9 or 2.0, not sure which model would the gurus here
recommend.
iii) Peugeot 405 SRI Auto

What do I want in a car:
i) Realiable, easy to find spare parts
ii) Good fuel consumption, might consider diesel units if repair is not
an issue.
iii) Stylish

Here is my initial comments:
Volvo 240GLE:
Pros: Spacious, solid and large.
Cons: Drinker and maybe modest performer? I heard that it does RM
0.15/KM to RM 0.20KM. No offense

Peugeot 405 SRI Auto
Pros: It`s a french, and it`s cheap for a used unit. Comfortable (as
claimed)
Cons: Is it more "unrealiable" than Citroen? I`ve search through Peugeot
forums and seems to be more major problems than Citroen. Correct me if I
were to be wrong.
Seems need to fork out RM 1-2K initially to get it to tip top condition

Citroen ZX
Pros: Quite stylish and cheap for a used unit
Cons: I`ve yet to find one.Hope its a realiable, easy to repair and has
good fuel consumption.

Better not get any of these 3 cars. They are not cheap to maintain!
If you insist on a conti car..get the solid Mercedes W123. Can be had for
like Rm10k only nowadays. Spare parts way lower cost than any of the
other 3 cars...and far more reliable.

You mean like the 80s Mercedes 200 ? Never had that thought in my mind,
though doesn't mean it's not going to be in my list either.
