yeap, u can see it if u jack up the car, look at the left side, below the
petrol pump inlet, inside the back tyre side. kenot miss it one la...

if u want to DIY, make sure the fuel filter is at the correct arrow
postion.

i always thought it at the engine bay like other car, but after searching
for a while, my mechanic told me its at the back. somewhere near where you
pump the petrol in.

nola, don't worry, the petrol won't shoot out like some arteries cut.

there will be trickles, more like pipe leaking at home(the washer gone
type)...

so no worries, jsut make sure that the position of the arrow(ie fuel flow)
for the filter is correct, look out for the arrow.

and before u buy them, make sure u check with the car spare part seller
for the kancil 660 or 850(whichever u own) fuel filter, original cost
about rm20(from P2, made by Cycle and Carriage) or rm30(Ori -Japan,
daihatsu) or even the local type, ie cap-mark at rm8 only.

take your pic, but personally, i've been using the ori P2 type, usually
get it at rm16-18 at the spare part shop that most of us know situated at
seapark.

no worries.

as long as it is carb, ther eis no issue of the fuel filter having high
pressure, thus setting the fuel in streams of fuels.

Petrol loss is minimal, but do take care for naked flames around teh
working area.

injection car fuel system are normally pressurised, hence, leave it to the
mech, they know what to do better.

The injection car fuel sytem also isn't much complicated laa. My wira,
fuel injection, they changed it quite easy. The rule is that you need to
open the petrol tank cap to release the pressure before replacing the fuel
filter.

The fuel filter for fuel injection car is made of steel compared to the
carb engines which is a plastic make.

PS -> Why waste money for the service / labour when it can be replaced by
yourself within minutes (provided you can find it) ^
