I went to Geotauto a couple of times previously. All was fairly OK. Liked them then due to they were using Total Engine Oil and most of Nasim's workshop at that time dont.
Anyway, the last visit there was a really bad one that I had stopped going there.
I went that at around 9++ am to do normal oil service and to get them to check my air-cond vent due to some smell that comes in.
I informed them that I will be waiting and not leave the workshop. Saw them working on my car from 10 something to around 12 something. Then no one touches my car. At 4 something, the SA just casually came to me and said that they do not have the time to look at the aircond vent. And told me that if I still insist of check it, I should leave my car with them for a couple of days.
I got so furious, firstly they didn't tell me this when I sent my car in the morning. They still made me wait until 4pm to tell me this. So since I was so angry, the SA told me to wait for a bit and they will work on it. And guess what, at 5.30pm, they still tell me that they couldn't check the aircond as the aircond mechanic left at 5pm.
I then confronted the manager, the manager just told me this, "Nothing much I can do, I already asked them to work on it. You talk to them if you are unhappy about it."
I immediately called the customer service and complaint about this. They just told me to take my car to Bluebox. They even made the appointment for me and got SA from Bluebox to call me.
For me, this is just plain dumb for a workshop to make the customer wait and wait.....
I have been going to Bluebox only ever since, so far no complaint against Bluebox from me.
I understand your frustration. It is very poor customer service.
I was at Geoauto last week for major service. All fluids were change on my car and work completed in 2+hrs. This was because I was the 1st customer on that day,waited for the doors to open 8 am itself. The guy after me,308, came for aircon malfunction. Since my car was done and I was about to leave, he told me no one has worked on his car yet. I think they were waiting for aircon service expert from outside.
The problem here is that most Peugeot SC are not setup for aircon service. I believe aircon experts are called in when needed. All this requires good coordination by front desk staff and availability of aircon service men at short notice. We can see how the process can break down very easily,especially with Bolehland work ethics!
It would be a great help, if the customer is advised as follows:
1) Where he could go for authorized aircon service.
2) There would be a delay if aircon service is needed at attending SC.
I'm not sure all Bluebox SC have aircon service. As for Geoauto as SC,I rate them as satisfactory for normal service. I use them as last minute, but was told they too will implement service by booking. Can't comment on their capability for serious malfunction! Would probably use Glenmarie or Balakong for serious malfunction.
Tq for the feedback, at least I'm going to ask these questions before sending my car for aircon service!
