Its simplelah, probably newer PS3 got low cost design change, cost cutting process that why happen all this cracking issues.
No doubt the PS3 is a superb performer, but quality is letting is way down the drain.

I'm using Advan V105 now, good for fast driving, much better grip in dry and wet compared to PS3. Other than really heavy rain which PS3 simply excels in. Anyone looking for options should look into V105 and other tires like GY Asy 2, CSC5, S1Evo2, S001.
But of course, all tires got own minus points. Things that you will never hear in any review....like cracking, Tramlining, side bengkak, difficult to alignment, wear of fast, noisy after midlife etc.

Advan V105 was tested against Michelin higher performing PSS woh!
V105, Asy2, CSC5, S1Evo2, S001 I think all start in 17". 15" only have PS3

Just changed to PS3 for my Waja yesterday

First impression is that the Car seems to travel smoother, perhaps tyres still oily but when I changed from my NCT5 to CC5 did not get the same impression and also when I changed from CC5 to CD2.

Tyres still new so waiting for scrub in before trying higher speeds corners.

Just wondering won't 35psi means the tyre is bloated up more resulting less surface contact area, especially during cornering, and make the car unstable if road is not even? It will improve acceleration & fuel efficiency due to less friction but also wears out faster & less grippy.

Well, if you are the Sunday driver on comfort pump less air pressure, say 28 to 30 psi.
If you are the fast & furious that does fast corners, then 33 to 35 psi.
With lower air pressure you will definitely will have body roll and tilting in hard corners.
With higher air pressure you will definitely have a bumpier ride.....

So maybe 30 to 32 psi, best of both worlds?? smile_question.gif

Depends on you....... smile_wink.gif
