well if the 2003 city is in good conditon why not...2nd if u really like
the car and have passion for the car no matter how much money u going
to "burn" to the car it will have no prob...base on my personal experince,
buying a 5 year old honda should be no prob lah.if u plan to used the
honda for at least anathor 5 year dont expect the car will depreciate only
5K!hahhaha, atleast in the 5 year time atleast the car will be 30++ but a
persona when u buy today....5 years i think half price suda kena
potong....so whice one u rather buy?futurmore, i dont think proton solve
the quality problem...they really dont "dare to change" one.heheh

--------------------------------------------------------------------

i like the "dont dare to change" one....hahahahaha....proton is same like u
la B16B...execly like u...typical G staff.

to thread starter...dont buy 3rd class car for a 3rd world country car.
vios/city is a sampan handling with torsion beam (old tech). go get
persona...better handling and brand new some more.

5 yrs old vios/city not same with 5 yrs old civic/altis. very one side
diff. 3rd class car still 3rd class car. the price and the brand makes
people consider its a good car.

think wise ok

"Hi! I'm going to get my first car indeed. However, I can't make decision
on whether to get a brand new persona or a second hand 2003 honda city or
toyota vios as the price are about the same. Can I get some advise from
anyone here?"

If money is a concern then get a new car.
Yea if you go for the brand then RM50K you can get used Vios/City.
But if you're really concern about the brand then for RM50K then you can get
a used MB C220, S70 or BMW 318i

i bought my 1996 1.8 wira on 2001 by cash.
my 2003 kelisa just made a full settlement.
i bought 1982 nissan C31 on 2005 also by cash and bought another C31 last
year and dismantle it for sparepart.

yes...those are kereta buruk but i'm free from any kind of hutang.
hahahahah........financial freedom as early as 30yrs old.

no credit cards...no home loan and whatsoever. and u G staff keep on
cursing me day and night but at the end of the month...your wallet got a
big hole like your mother a55h0le....wakakakakaka!!!!!.....so pity to

it's not about what car u drive..but it's about how u manage your money. if
u want an expensive car like vios..go ahead laa.....got lot of part time
job out there. G staff what...can sneak out early from office and do a part
time job.

pay 85k for a 3rd class 1.5 car is totally unacceptable.

if you plan to keep your vios or honda for more than 8 years, the part
will be very expensive, it because is 2 generation old model already, it
is harder to get the new spare part..different with proton, example wira
for last 20 years and never change. only 1 generation,
my 10 years old toyota SEG, the cost of air cond window is RM7O a pieces.
need to order from toyota dealer. repairt everthing damn expensive..
