Do Not Go To Geoauto Pj!

I go to Geoauto PJ to service my cart as I read in forum before that it has good customer service.

Now, I has to say it is totally wrong!!!

Case1: Car Wash Service
As I have done car coating, they will only damage the coating after their rough cleaning.
First time :I told the counter I did not want the car wash service. I went for breakfast. They have washed my car.
Second time: I told the counter again, please! This time I waited at waiting room. I went out to check the status. My goodness! Half way washing my car. I stopped them.
Third time: No chance given to them. I stayed the working bay.

Case2: Car door rattling sound
First time: Front drive door. Problem solved after changed some door clip due to broken door clips after tinted film installation.
Second time: Left rear door. This time is my nightmare!
Long story.
I highlighted to them 3 problems during my major servie, bad wiper condition, rear door rattling sound and abnormal fast signal speed.
They did not even check any of the problem after serviced!!! The counter (Mr. Chandran) wrote in the service card but the mechanic did not border to read the card.
I quickly told one of the mechanic I saw. He told me they only performed normal car service during Saturday and asked me to come back weekday. (what a good customer service, brovo!!!)
I complained to Mr. Chandran. He asked mechanic to settle the signal speed for me. Again, asked me to come back on weekday for the door rattling sound. I looked for a guy (look like was supervisor). After somewhie, Mr. Chadran told me to come back next Saturday as he had to order the door in order to solve the problem.
Wah, they were really expert!!!! I only hear the sound on the uneven road condition. They knew where was the problem without test drove my car.
No one followed up my case. No one called me. I called back on Friday looking for Mr. Chandran. No around, I left a message and would like him to call me on the same day. No call at all!
I called again on Saturday morning. Once gain, good customer service, bravo! Mr. Chandran has totally forgotten my case. He promised to get the part on Monday.
I asked my wife took leave on Tuesday. I called Mr. Chandran on Monday afternoon at 4:45pm. No around. I left message. Of course, there was no call to me. I called again at 5:45pm. Mr. Chadrasn simply replied me he has got the part. He hang up before I managed to ask some questions.
My wife went there on Tuesday morning. My wife called me they have received the front door part instead for rear door. I was very angry and asked my wife passed the phone to Mr. Chandran. He only promised to change the part on Saturday no matter how hard I pressed him to change on the same day.
No follow up call to me. I called him on Friday afternoon.
They changed the part for me on Saturday (26/01/13). No one could tell me what is the actual descrition for the part. No test drove after changed. They asked me to test myself. I also rushing to other place, I have no choice. The rattling sound becomes worse after the part changed.
I do not think they can help me to solve the problem if I continue to look for them. It will only wasting my time and energy. Do not know what should I do now. I am thinking to look for sound proof specialist. I do not need to improve the sound proof but hope that they can help me to rectify the problem.
As we all understand, no use complain to Nasim. What happen if we throw a stone into sea? smile_angry.gif smile_angry.gif smile_angry.gif

The major problem is not the car but it is the people!

Looks like its an overcrowded SC and in such situation, things tend to get messed up biggrin.gif Rattling sound are very irritating indeed! biggrin.gif

understand your frustrations...

my experience recently was having the 'depollution system faulty' message when i picked up my car the next day after a normal service and the worst thing is i was told by the service adviser after looking at my car's mileage of 54K, he quoted "it's just a matter of time..."

what?? do you mean all the cars will eventually have this problem? how can we put a trust on a car that has such an unreliable engine?

Geuauto previously was one of the recommended workshop ... time change I guess ... maybe as Bro PBM mentioned is due to overcrowded SC ... my other guess would be due to the Corporate Image upgrade done recently ... all the money went there rather than getting more good mechanic or keeping the good one ...

I can accept if they can not solve my problem but provided that they have done their best in term of customer service and technical support.

Yes, it is overcrowded. But it should control the number of cars service daily in order to maintain the quality!!!

It's a wonder how the Prince engine received Engine of the Year Award ?? It is fundamentally a design flaw - the cylinder head to be precise. The PCV and EGR are contributors to the excessive carbon deposits at the stem of the intake valves. It is not that they do not know this... they do !! The remedy is simply too expensive. If they issue a recall, we are talking of at least one third of the car price. So the easier way is that they say a recall is not necessary as it is not a safety issue; but they are dead wrong. There is an increasing number of our cars that are stalling when stressed - ie. when climbing Gentings, Karak highway, or a constant speed of say 140, 160km/h. Being stranded on Karak is not a safety issue ?? Oh, come on Nasim !! Get stranded and you will know what it is like !! Yes, I agree that other marques too have their problems, but do you see 20 bimmers, Mercs or Audis at any one given time at SCs waiting for repairs of the same issue ?? Mid of last year there were 22 308T and 3008 parked at Glenmarie SC for various engine related issues !! I think some of you too may vouch for this. Our consumer rights are violated. I tried taking this to the consumer tribunal, but the maximum claim there is RM25K only.

Before the Prince engine problem was the AL4 gearbox problem and I was an unfortunate receipant of one such car. That is why I sold my car and swore never to return to another conti again unless it's a Merc or Beamer. All other contis are in so bad shape in Europe now, don't talk about recalling cars, sustaining also is a problem already.

No choice for them. When they see that Japanese cars with above average quality selling at more reasonable price is having high sales volume, they have to change strategy. Otherwise, they are no going to survive. But they need to have good customer service to handle foreseen problem for lower quality cars.

Continue from my first comment.

The service manager called me on 05/02/13(Tue) morning after I complained to Peugeot official email. He promised would arrange 1 guy just handled my case. I was on leave on the same day went to other service center (damn! same bad service though!). I called this service manager on the same day afternoon. Guess what? He has totally forgotten who I was!

I went again this morning. He was once again forgot my case. I had to explain the whole story to him. I left my car there after let his mechanic (he is experienced and nice guy) knew all my problems. I waited until 4:40pm, no call to me. I called to his mobile phone. He called me to call to service center as he was testing customer's car. I called to service center and knew that my car was not ready yet. He called me later, informed me that he was actually testing my car.

I called this manager a few times but yet he sounded like he has no idea who was I. He was no where when the machanic passed the car to me.

The most frustrated part is not they unable to solve our problem but they have never tried their best to serve us a customer.
I will definitely write another complaint email to Nasim. comp26.gif

I wrote a complaint to Nasim. The servive manager had to call me to solve the problem. I went there after his call. I have written second complaint to Nasim. Now, I am waiting for the reply.

The problem is still there. This is not the main reason I make second complaint. The service manager called to my mobile which meant he has my number. At the same day he called me, I called him afternoon to confirm my appointment. He has already forgotten who I was.

I went there. He was once again forgotten who I was and asked me what was my problem. I left my car there. I called around 4:30 to his mobile phone to check the status. He told me he was busy tested customer car. He then called me, he was actually testing my car.

If you can not even remember a customer after the complaint has already gone to the Nasim and asked you to take action, can I still hope that my problem can be rectified?

First Class customer service I received from Geoauto PJ!
