Hi st150,

No, I have sold to a bastard who failed payments and change name and I was
made to suffer. Now a black lister already. Is your Ghost still running
good. Nice bike to keep for collection.

rsa25,

Sorry to hear about your bike. My Ghost "was" running but now in
hospital. So, out of frustration for not having a bike to ride to Krabi
the last minute, I got myself a Monster 9 ! However, the timing was bad &
I still missed the trip to Krabi for the 3 nation charity ride.

Rgds.

while we wait for waneterna feedback on his new toy, I wish to share some
of my opinion when I went to view this bike at NAZA Kg. Baru. Well the
price is confirmed, at RM 25K OTR. Ready stock but when I asked what
colour available the fella said yellow and blue- yellow sold out already,
wonder if there's any grain of truth in there, since I don't see any blade
650 any colour for that matter OTR yet. Since I was interested in black I
asked him if it was possible to have the 650 in black. Initially the guy
said no but later he asked his boss or something and the old guy said
yeah, you can. Hmmm.... what is this? Some marketing ploy so that later
when I paid full( I intent to buy it cash)ready to collect the bike, they
will say something like black sold out already, if want have to wait 3
months or can get now but blue color. Hmmm..... Anyway, now after I
chased off the sales rep politely, I begin my delicate/critical
inspection of the bike. Overall impression is good and solid built,
but.....

1.Exhaust end can seemed/it is made out some cheapo aluminium material,
with all the pop rivet not done precisely.Better call in the Remus guys.
2. Decals/stickers of low-average quality. And I mean all of it. Better
if you were to take it out.
3. Radiator is unusually wide viewing from the riding position. Seems as
if like its gonna get caught by car side mirror while filtering traffic.
But one thing that really concerned me is the radiator tubing on the
right engine side, it's big, rubber and I think prone to puncture by road
debris like stone,etc.
4.Fasteners(screws/bolt/nut) quality no idea, since the bike is quite new
and not exposed to environment, to say it is of good quality not sure, who
knows what shortcut measure NAZA took in order to cut production cost
down to maximise their profit.
5. Excellent tyre fitted as standard though, the one which I viewed had
Pirelli Diablo shodded. Rear tyre is 160 wide, so should be cheaper to
replace.
6.Front disc brake caliper looks way too small and weak for the disk
they're gripping
7. Don't expect any familiar brand names on big bikes here like
Nissin,Tokico,Brembo,Sachs,WP,Penske,Soqi. All the components- brake
calipers, rear suspension and fork all no-names brands. It's not even
branded, there's no writing on it!

Verdict: I'll wait until there's a few on the road and in weathered
condition to see really how it fares. Otherwise, I think I'll opt for an
8 year old ZX-11D4/ZX-6R instead with that kind of money. And we all know
how does NAZA fares with their own scooters quality. Now why should we
think differently with their big bike range. After all, remeber they're
just a bunch of bussinesman, what concerned to them is the profit, not
the integrity and proudness of building motorcycle like Honda, Kawasaki,
Suzuki,etc.

nazirmz,

I went to Naza Kg Baru when thefirst launched Blades. The boss there said
for Blade 650 only blue avialable. I don't think they they have sold so
much until yellow Blade 650 sold out. Sound like a bluff if they said
sold out when actually that color is not available.

The is an interesting forum in smallbike section that comments about Blade
250 (not 650 la). The experience of BC Lim is something one should take
into consideration if one is thinking of getting a Blade. While we read
quite impressive review of Hyusong Comet 250/650, Naza Blade 250/650 can
be a totally different product in term product quality & services.

Check this out.

Should anyone experienced otherwise, please revert, as I am holding the

yeah... I knew these NAZA people are con-men in legal business. That's
what I thought too, impossible yellow color sold out considering I
haven't seen a single blade 650 OTR yet!(I live in subang
jaya,frequenting areas of shah alam, KJ,PJ, Damansara,KL,etc.). And I
also agree with you saying that the quality of Hyosung and Naza is
definitely different, one is built in S.Korea while the other somewhere
is Shah Alam if I'm not mistaken. Quality sure different between export
and local market, that's the norm. Anyway good luck on the prospective
buyers of Blade 650. Do keep us updated on the good and ugly side of the
bike(hey, there's a prospective buyer here waiting for feedbacks/reviews
on quality issues).btw, its possible what BC Lim is experiencing on his
blade 250, could happen to the 650...

Berita Minggu today 03/10/2004 (Hah! Macam okay Blade 650!)

http://www.bharian.c...004100/Article/

Pecutan Blade 650 yakinkan penunggang
Oleh Ismail Mat

PROGRAM hujung minggu Sunday Ride berkonvoi bersama ahli Kuala Lumpur
Bikers Club (KLBC) menuju ke Port Dickson memang menyeronokkan walaupun
terpaksa mengharungi jalan licin kerana hujan lebat.

Pelbagai gelaran
diberikan kepada spesies motosikal ini. Ada yang mengenalinya sebagai
Naked Bike, Street Bike dan Cafe Rider.

Panggillah apa saja, ia membawa maksud sama, motosikal jalanan sepertinya

meter sebelah kiri, manakala mangkuk meter sebelah kiri mempamerkan RPM

lagi, akibatnya saya terpaksa menunggang sendirian.

Sebaik melepasi tol Sungai Besi, saya pantas merentap pendikit, memecut
laju sambil berharap hujan tidak merencatkan perjalanan. Ketika meter

tinggi.

Ada speed trap! bisik hati menafsir kelipan lampu tinggi tadi,
membuatkan saya pantas menukar lorong sambil menutup pendikit hingga
mencapai kelajuan 115 kilometer sejam.

Hello fellas,

Heard that NAZA is selling the Hyosung Aquila 650 badged as GV 650. Has
anyone here tested the bike. If so, what is the overall impression on
handling, quality & performance. Heard that its styling takes after HD
V-Rod only that a lot of the chrome bits were made of plastic. Wonder how
all this plastics hold up to abuse & time. At 30k+ i really wouldn't mindd
considering, except that i heard that NAZA sucks as an assembler & their
sales & service sucked even more! Read in reviews that hyosung has upped
the quality a few notches since their earlier bikes...comet etc. Hopefully
this is also translated into our local versions. Bike sure looks good in
pics. Anyone knows where NAZA bikes showroom is in PJ?
