Replacing 1 pcs o2 sensor at 220k km. Supposed to be checked at 30k interval and changed at 120k km.
Sensor located at exhaust pipe replaced (Band 2) while engine O2 sensor (Band 1) still ok. Cost RM500 at Bosch Car Service at Kuchai Entrepeneurs Park. Band 2 sensor reading was fluctuating minimally from 0-20 only. Band 1 sensor fluctuates between 50-900.

No check light, but both sensors were overdue for replacement, must say that engine response now is much better..

How to tell if the PCV is out?

PCV valve should not be oily inside, its fitting to the engine and connection to hoses should be tight.
Its function is to relieve pressure in the engine and allow for evaporated petrol/water vapour from the engine oil to be recirculated and burned..
