Can't come cos' I live in JB. Besides, not available this Sat. Thanks.

Some said that Ford Laser is not cheap to maintain. Spare parts are
expensive. What are the common problems facing this particular car?

I have been driving year 90 TX3 for 4 years, so far not much problem.. i
think only common proble is the under carriage, where those bushes
frequent wwornout... if got budget change all to PU material..other wise
just like normal maintenance of any car... if u opted for more power u can
cosider drop in B8 turbo engine...

Just bought Ford Laser 1.6 H/B '90 which the engine had already been
converted to Mazda 1.8 B8 N/A. Here in Kuantan, it's very difficult to
find Ford/Mazda spare part at the chop shop..they mostly sell Mitsubishi,
Honda & Toyota spare part. Can anybody recommend me any chop shop around
KL that selling Ford/Mazda spare part? I/m looking for rear brake dics
assembly for my car. And also, if possible Ford TX3 absorbers & springs.

tq

Hi.. i'm newbie, I owned a ford 'jerung' (4doors) 1.6 model... the
question is how can i upgrade my engine to B8 engine without changing the
gearbox(coz i heard that my gearbox cannot lock the B8 to 2 wheels drive).

mudd,

Is better for you to change the gearbox cox the clutch slippage u may
encouter later.. the 1.6 gearbox u can use but u need spend money on
custom made clutch.. The best choice to get TX3 gearbox, telstar g/b or
lantis 1.8 gearbox or B6 2wd gearbox...

I have a fren was using his 1.6 gearbox with B8, but he custom his clutch.
