Thank you "ayluvb3ech" . You are spot on!.
Keep up the good work.

thanks.

even if you don't know about cars, there's 1 tip i recommend in order for you not to get conned.

Always remember to change items of low value first.

Eg.

Car overheating - Check coolant, then check radiator cap, then check thermostat, if cannot then only switches/relays/sensors and lastly fan.

Car jerking/Gearbox hunting gears - change spark plugs, then change spark cables, then replace ATF, check plug on coil or distributor for cracks and finally replace GB.

Power window not working - check fuse & switch, then only motor.

More often than not, mechanic already know what are the problems. But they tend to slaughter u with the highest value item first.

Thanks AYLUVB3ECH,

Anyway problem was solved by replacing both the cooling fan and resistor which looks like a plug connector (connecting the fan and the electrical supply.

Total cost was Rm 663.95, breakdown as follows;
1. Motor radiator resistor - RM95.90
2. Motor radiator cooling fan (25386 2H051) - RM 528
3. Labour (0.6 units) - RM 37.80 (after 10% disc)
4. Service tax 6% - RM2.27

Thanks all
Kelvin
