normally batts last longer if the car is run frequently over a certain
period each time... lets say u use the car every day for 10 mins and 30
mins for the other guy, the 30 mins guy's batt shd last longer due to
adequate recharging... and of coz if a guy uses the car onli on weekends,
it will die faster than the other guy who drives it everyday...

batts lose its capacity over time if they are not charged adequately
during each trip... and for those that need to refill, u need to do it
frequently to maintain it...

i am not driving a vios... but mine lasted for 32 months until now still
havent change (the batt looks out of shape, but still no sign of
failing... alwiz able to start engine with a single crank)... coz i
refill every weekend and i drive around over 2500km per mth with the car
used everyday...

that's the problem of driving AT car. Carry jumper wires with you all the
time. Anyway, I think cars with weak batt won't stall while engine is
running. You just can't crank start it.

Can I correct some myth,

"when u start, u need to switch off air cond/player"

For all I know, the ignition switch has a bypass circuit that switch off
such as air cond and player before starting ignition. I dont what else it
switch off (lights, etc)

do tell me if I am wrong. I got this info from the car air cond guy.

my wife's Vios battery just 'kong' yesterday night...after 2 years++
have to call AAM to send the battery...is maintenance free AAM brand
cost RM175!!!

My advise is to change your battery even though is still good(when more
than 1 1/2 years to 2 years) to avoid inconvenience...

I personally experience once...my car battery fails ...at a LRT station
and somemore it was raining so heavy...after wait for hours before
AAM come to the rescue!!

JUST CHANGE IT!

you can check your car battery to know when need to change it,

first, off radio/cd player then switch on your head light for one minute
(60 second),with your head light's on start your car engine,if the engine
can start as normal then your battery still in good condition, but if you
have litter problem to start your car then is the time to change lio...

I am driving a wira travel every day about 60,000km per year ,normal
battery can last for about 18 months, best record 23 months, just check
the water always only.
when the battery near to die ,the battery water will dry very fast.
