Need help! My LMST's dashboard indicator's annoying blue light was on
even after turning off the engine, lights etc...my speedometer is not
working, the door-open sign is on, my fuel and temperature indicator is
blank as well...basically the whole unit went 'kaput'.

I need to know if anyone has experienced it and whether it is a simple
problem or a more complicated i.e. costly one? What should I do?

Btw the car has clocked about 73,000km.

Appreciate any good advice I can get here.

Thanks.

Are yours is first model (stack) or 2nd model (vdo)? i reckoned yours is
1st model. try check your fuses or failed bulbs in the meter. Or else,
change to new one. VDO backlight is better than 1st model.

Mine was the 1st model...went to Eon Glenmarie and after checking they
advised to change the whole unit as the fuse and wiring were ok....total
cost? a whopping RM727, including a harness to fix this "new"
model.....not sure whether they were honest with the assessment but
nothing much I can do right?
