hello to all my buddies..
I hav a few question related to bolt-on turbo for standard waja..
here goes my question:

1. I owned a waja 1.6(A) 01, and nvr do any mods for it.. recently i
found a workshop at johor jaya tat they do bolt-on turbo for waja which
will coz me around 5-7k.. i always wanted to hv a turbo engine for my
waja, i should go for engine swap or juz bolt-on turbo for it?

2. Will it be any side effects if i bolt-on turbo for my standard engine?

3. What others mods should do after i bolt-on turbo?

4. Anyone hav done bolt-on turbo pls share ur knowledge and experience..

Thank u all..ur comments will be appreciate.hv a nice day :)

a standard Waja engine wont be able to take the pressure of a turbo
charger...but i guess the $5-7k they quoted u includes replacing pistons,
valves, cams, manifolds...and all other "heavier" duty engine parts..

i don't think so they change the piston and valve / as i know they add in
turbine, maniford, injector, BOV , intercooler, boost and fuel
controller, additional they might also change the casket fort more
compression.

yalor,...4G18P N/A kena pressure by Turbo,,..i think not very advisable
lar....will reduce yo engine lifetime only... why dont u do engine
upgrade?..
meaning, swap to a 4G63 easily lar,,in terms of power aso better than
BOLT ON performance,..
can masuk WAJA engine bay no sweat arr... a little bit costly lar...

but having a halfcut engine oso very risky..coz dun noe wat happen inside
the engine.. problem only occur after pasang it a few months later..

plus got ppl use it oledi for 1 year..no problem occur.. i think is ok
lo.. the work shop oso quite famous in terms of their workmanship..they

i have talked to a few mechanic, best option is to swap engine.

you need to find a reputable workshop/mechanic to do the swapping.

these guys will source the best working condition engine for you.

How about SuperCharge?

I think it's weaker then turbo but it should be cheaper then bolt-on
turbo & it's more compatible with NA engine. No need intercooler, etc...

I've seen them in oversea magazine on other car but it never these device
in M'sia?
